9:12 p.m. - South Fayette gave up a few plays in first half. But not this half. Defense has been very good this half.

Hampton goes ahead of Knoch, 14-10

Zach Challingsworth has been tremendous. Eight catches for 127 yards. A few of them acrobatic. Also ran three times for 23 yards. And intercepted a pass.
8:09 p.m. - These South Fayette receivers are terrific. Mike Fetchet diving catch for 9-yard TD. PAT good and it's 31-12 South Fayette with 14 seconds left in half. Brett Brumbaugh might set WPIAL single-game passing record tonight. Seriously.
8:06 p.m. - Maybe it's just me. But on third-and-8 late in first half, I'm pretty sure I'm not letting South Fayette's Zach Challingsworth get behind me. Anyone but him. But he did anyway and caught a 39-yard pass to the Seton 9. Timeout with 19.5 seconds left in half.
8:04 p.m. - 34 seconds left in the half. South Fayette at Seton 43.

7:41 p.m. - Brett Brumbaugh most definitely good. But his receivers are really good, too. They make some tremendous catches, helping Brumbaugh's yardage.
7:40 p.m. - And get this. Luke Brumbaugh, playing DB almost just intercepted brother Brett.
7:39 p.m. - OK, Seton fans showed up. Nice crowd now for a Class AA school.

Freeport returns opening kickoff for TD, leads Shady Side Academy, 7-0
End of first quarter and Mt. Lebanon leads Woodland Hills, 14-7

7:12 p.m. - Am I going to see another blowout. Seems like it's all I see this year, except Montour at Central Valley. South Fayette now ahead 14-0. Brett Brumbaugh throws 8 yard TD pass to Zach Challingsworth, who outjumps defender for TD. South Fayette offense has been unstoppable so far. I don't know about Seton's offense. Rebels haven't had ball yet.
7:10 p.m. - Brumbaugh throws first completion. Was 6 of 6 for 95 yards already and there is still 8:27 left in first quarter. I really like Challingsworth.
7:09 p.m. - Seton fumbles away kickoff. South Fayette driving again. On 8-yard line.
7:04 p.m. - Wow!!!!. South Fayette impressive. Already ahead, 7-0. Moves 88 yards in five plays. I don't need to see any more to know this. Brett Brumbaugh is really good - for any age. He's only a sophomore. Tremendous for a sophomore. 4 of 4 on first drive. Pitt fans should be excited, too. Really impressive on first drive at WR and running the ball. TD was 28-yard pass from Brumbaugh to Justin Watson.
6:55 p.m. - Game time in five minutes. South Fayette brought a decent amount of people, but not many at all form Seton-LaSalle. I know Baldwin is a big stadium at a Quad-A school, but the home side isn't even half full. Maybe one quarter.
Little bit of basketball recruiting news. A lot of reports that Duquesne has landed 6-8 power forward Isaiah Watkins of St. Benedict (N.J.). Beat out some pretty high-profile programs for him. Would be a nice catch.
PREGAME
I like South Fayette in this one. Think might just be better team overall.
This is definitely a game that has gone green. Both teams are green. Not many people here yet as of 6:40 p.m. Of course, Route 51 traffic might have something to do with that.
Lanny Frattare and Bob Orwis here doing game for KDKA AM 1020.
Xfinity TV doing the game also. Chris Shovlin and Ellis Cannon. Game is available On Demand starting Monday.
