A few updates on what former WPIAL players are doing.
Shatori Walker-Kimbrough continues to impress as a freshman on one of the top women's college basketball teams in the country.

Walker-Kimbrough came off the bench and scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds in a 79-70 victory against North Carolina Sunday. North Carolina was ranked No. 10 in the country at the time. Maryland moved up to No. 6 in the latest AP rankings.
For the season, Walker-Kimbrough is second on the team in points (11.4 a game), rebounds (3.4) and steals (18). Maybe the most impressive part of her season so far has been her shooting. She is shooting an impressive 53 percent from 3-point range (15 of 28).
Walker-Kimbrough is a two-time Post-Gazette player of the year and high school female athlete of the year.

***** Davidson senior Tom Droney, a graduate of Sewickley Academy, had a big game Saturday as the Wildcats defeated Wofford, 78-63. Droney (pictured) scored 18 points. He is now averaging 12.4.
***** Remember Zeke Marshall, the 7-footer from McKeesport? He is now playing for the Maine Red Claws in the NBA DLeague. He is playing only 13 minutes a game and is averaging 2 points, 4 rebounds and 1 block a game.
***** Temple's Devontae Watson, a 6-10 sophomore from Lincoln Park, is playing 10 minutes a game and averaging 1.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 blocks. He had four blocks and five rebounds in a game against Rutgers Jan. 1.
