Before we get to the predictions, it's time for another year of that wildly popular show "This Week In High School Sports" with yours truly and Terry Shields, filmed at the sparkling P-G studio, inside the new P-G building. Now, onto the predictions. Stopped at Schorr's Bakery in West View today and got a sweet roll and these dozen predictions to go on tonight's top games:
CLASS AAAA - Upper St. Clair over Penn Hills - First losing season in 36 years might have Panthers snarling.
Also, Plum over Hempfield.
CLASS AAA - Thomas Jefferson over Ringgold - TJ isn't ready to give up Big Ten supremacy rights.
Central Valley over Montour - Something tells me Montour might end up team to beat in Parkway, but until they prove it ...
Also, Mars over Indiana; Franklin Regional over Knoch; Gateway over Greensburg Salem; West Allegheny over New Castle.
CLASS AA - Shady Side Academy over Freeport; Mount Pleasant over McGuffey.
